A fascinating look at postwar jazz culture in this lot of twelve magazines: The Jazz Record (New York), nos. 15, 24, 26, 28, 30, 39, 42, 43, 50, 53, and 54, dating from 1943 to 1947, and a single issue of The Second Line (New Orleans), volume nine, nos. seven and eight (July-August 1959). All in good to very good condition: some general shelfwear, rubbing to wraps, small tears to a few issues; stapled bindings largely remain intact and sturdy, save Jazz Club no. 53, which shows some tearing to the wraps at spine.
