It tells of the impact that the birth of a Down's Syndrome child to the author's family had and of the hitherto undreamed of blessing the child brought them. Translated by Mieke Zwart and with a note on Down's Syndrome by Georgia Clark with suggested further reading. The copy offered was given to Lady Barnes when her husband the late Sir John Barnes was British Ambassador to the Netherlands and has their book plate to the front paste down.
