The 10 original colour silkscreens, printed by Sirocco screenprints inc. and each blind-stamped by the publisher, are accompanied by an essay by the artist and an introduction by Harry Holtzman, close friend of Mondrian and his sole heir. Complete portfolios are hard to find, with…many having been split. A set is held in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Square folio. 10 original silkscreen prints on wove paper, each sheet: 43.2 × 43.2 cm. Original beige cloth portfolio with black lettering to spine, prints held in protective numbered and titled paper sleeves with all original tissue guards present. Prints clean and bright, colours strong, some small marks and creasing to tissue guards; some rubbing to cloth of portfolio, with fraying to head and tail of spine and corners and faint marks. Overall, a near-fine set with the complete suite of fine prints.
