Jahrhunderts werden sechs Friedhofsprojekte genauer vorgestellt: die Friedhöfe Ebikon (LU), Hinterriet/Küsnacht (ZH), Horw (LU), das Krematorium Nordheim (Stadt Zürich) sowie die Friedhöfe Schlieren (ZH) und Oberengstringen (ZH). Alle Beispiele zeugen von einer klaren räumlichen Strukturierung und einer Modernität, wie sie zu dieser Zeit nicht üblich war. Man wird beeindruckt durch eine für Schweizer Verhältnisse grosszügige Offenheit, durch eine von Rasenflächen geprägte sanfte Gestaltung und durch den Bezug zur umgebenden Landschaft.
