Hardcover. Condizione: Poor. First Edition First Printing. Octavo. 576 pages. Hardcover bound in 3/4 leather. The binding is very worn and abraded with much of the marbling on the boards rubbed away. The front cover is hanging by a cord and a string, and the rear cover is detached but present. Chipping to the leather on the spine. text is toned, and there a newspaper clipping has been laid in between pages 262 and 263 resulting in browning on those pages. Extensive pencil notations (mostly mathematical) on the final page of text and the rear pastedown. A binding copy or reference copy only.
