Building the authors case of why are these iconic outdoor brands voicing sustainable leadership when in fact they are the cause of the water and air pollution in the United States and China and other parts of Asia. The book itself with many sub headings to help the reader through each chapter surely offers an insight that anyone carrying a backpack wants to read while enjoying outdoor recreation. Being in the attack on 911, Doug's experience presents a view of the attack most have not heard or would imagine themselves working through. Spending almost a half hour in a train tunnel going into the attack area under the Hudson River and then safely getting out. That area of New York City, Manhattan is an island with only tunnels and bridges to enter and exit. Born and raised there during his youth, the author used his knowledge and stayed cool.
