The Hotel "Famous For Fine Foods Since 1846" dates back to the establishment opened by German immigrant Louis Rueger in 1846. It was seized to be Commodore of the Confederate Navy's headquarters and subsequently burned down in 1865. He rebuilt it as the Lafayette Saloon and it was expanded by his grandson in the earlier 20th century as The Hotel Rueger. It's still there as The Commonwealth, renovated except for the original 1912 elevators. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Cooking, Wine & Dining; Inventory No: CAT000934.
