B/W and colour photos, black and white maps, and colour illustrations of the author, his wife and several aircraft. The author hailed from Massey, Ontario, and joined the RCAF in the fall of 1940 as a fighter pilot. Between September of 1941 and April of 1944, he flew on 338 operational sorties before being wounded and sent home as a hero.
