A FIRST EDITION, first printing from 1934 (NOT a later or modern reprint), this hardcover book has decorative blue cloth-covered boards with black embossed lettering & design to front & spine. Condition is VG+: exceptionally clean, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white with just a whisper of tanning to edges, completely unmarked. Rust-colored stains to outer edges of both front & rear boards. Most of the plates are pristine, but a few have light foxing. The price-clipped DJ is VG, with minor edgewear & chipping, heaviest at both ends of spine. Slight darkening to edges & spine from handling; beautifully protected in new mylar cover free for years of reading pleasure!
