Göde, Henning (auch Goede, Gode, Goden, Göden; * um 1450 Werben - 1521 Wittenberg). Bedeutender deutscher Jurist. Studium 1464 an der Universität Erfurt, hier erlangte er 1474 den akademischen Grad eines Magister Artium. Die Universität Erfurt ernannte ihn im Wintersemester 1486 und im Wintersemester 1489 zum Rektor der Einrichtung. Neuen Ideen war er durchaus aufgeschlossen und warb innerhalb der Studentenschaft auch für eine Betrachtung der reinen (nicht theologischen) Philosophie und dem aufstrebenden Humanismus. 1509 kam es zu Streitigkeiten mit dem Rat von Erfurt, in dessen Folge Göde die Stadt am 13. Juli verließ. 1510 Aufenthalt in Wittenberg, hier Professur der juristischen Fakultät. Er stand der Reformation kritisch gegenüber und lehnte diese deshalb ab.
