It is the Oxford University Press hardcover edition, issued in 1977, and is embellished with the line drawings of T. L. B. Huskinson. The book has an introduction by Shane Leslie. A small impression on the rear cover tells us that this is a book club edition. "Phineas Finn" is the second of Trollope's 'Palliser Novels', and is a thorough satirical send-up (but a joyously sympathetic one) of Parliamentary Politics and English societal culture that formed around Politics. Politics with a capital P were close to Trollope's heart, and in this novel he brings a clear view of Parliamentary shennanigans to the surface.
