First Edition. Charles Higgins was injured at Gallipoli in 1915 but survived to become a modernist painter (exhibited with Picasso) as 'Pic'. His poetry was published under the 'Dall' pseudonym and covered both war poetry and poetry with a mystical taint. Higgins, although born in Buenos Aries had Scottish antecedents and felt a… connection to the area, partiicularly the Highlands, and many of the poems reflect this. \n\nA VG copy, with no marks or inscriptions.
