Beige DJ with brown text across covers and spine. Spine toned about half a shade darker than covers, faint scuffs likely due to shelf wear. Long, shallow open tear along top ed…ge of back cover, does not touch any text. DJ encased in protective mylar sleeve to prevent further damage. No date on title page but stated second edition. Copyright page states "Second Printing, May, 1949". 265 pages. Faint remnants of water damage around the edges of the last 50 pages, none extending into the text or noticeably warping the pages. Otherwise, pages clean and bright. Binding neat and tight. This volume comes from the Aviation collection of Prof. Chris Sterling. Sterling spent his lifetime teaching, writing, and collecting books on civil and military aviation. We are proud to house his Aviation collection, part of the extensive library which is his legacy.
