Horse loving girl, crippled by polio, is initially uninspired by her family's move to an Arizona ranch. Overcoming her fears, she tries riding a horse again and discovers a wild buckskin mare trapped in a canyon. She is determined to tame and ride the mare, and it is low slow process.
