The slipcase is also in nice condition with no tears or splits (there is a little sunning to the top portion of one side). Please Note that there is whitish spotting to the top gilt edge and to about 1" of the front gilt edge--it is not clear to me what caused this. Other than this issue this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings and no signs of wear; there are no ownership names or bookplates. This book appears to have been unread.
