Tight hardcover book in good condition. 12mo. 504pp. Dark green cloth boards & backstrip with circular incised script JMB in the center of the front board & faint incised gold lettering on the backstrip. The frontispiece has a black & white illustration by William Hatherell that is printed on coated stock with original tissue. The tops of the pages are dyed brown. Book is very tight. The boards have a little wear & edgewear. The front board's top corner is bumped. The backstrip has some edgewear on the top & bottom and some fading - the original gold lettering is barely visible. The original owner wrote name on ffep. The front endpapers have light discoloration. The inside of the back board has some foxing. The pre-pages & original frontispiece tissue have some light discoloration around the outside edges. The leaves are in very good condition with no markings. The bottom outside edge of the leaves have some foxing. Ships within 24 hours. Scans available upon request.
