Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. Jacket photo by the Irish Tourist Board (illustratore). 1st Edition. First published in 1980, this is a second impression of later the same year. Some edge wear and slight chipping to top and bottom of jacket and spine, corners slightly rubbed and bruised, spine slightly faded, some slight overall yellowing. Price clipped, gift inscription to ffep, some slight yellowing to page block, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 391pp. Short stories by Irish writer and journalist Benedict Kiely (1919-2007), reflecting an understanding of daily life in Ireland in the twentieth century accompany a novella 'Proxopera' about three IRA Provisionals who force Granda Binchey to deliver a bomb to a local judge's doorstep. Quite a scarce book.
