I'm not even sure whether things like that mattered back then. The book is in very good + condition (Particularly for having been published nearly 200 years ago and has no dust jacket. The book is 8 7/8" by 11" and has 80-some pages with NONE of the dozens of beautifully done black-and-white illustrations (each protected by a page of "onion-skin" paper) counted in that page count. I'd say that it might have 150 pages total. It has leather boards with gilded decorations for a binding. What a great book for the Rhine historian . . . or any artist who appreciates beautifully done black-and-white illustrations of 200 years ago. Thank you!
