Based on Irwin Shaw's 1960 novel, about an ex-film star who gets released from a sanitarium and tries to acclimate back into life in the entertainment industry, at the same time trying to connect with his ex-wife, and his former director's new wife. 8 x 10 inches. Four and two double weight vintage black-and-white still photographs from the 1958 US film. Two stills are from the UK release, with seller stamps on the versos. Based on the novel of the same name by Irwin Shaw, set during World War II, this largely antiwar film follows two American soldiers played by Clift and Martin and a Nazi soldier played by Brando, as they experience the various trials and hardship of war, including the discovery of a concentration camp and antisemitism from both sides. Shot on location in Germany, France, and San Diego, California. 8 x 10 inches (the UK stills are slightly smaller). US stills Near Fine, one UK stilll with slight discoloration, and a small piece of masking tape and layout annotations on the verso, else Near Fine.

Set in and shot on location in Paris and the French Riviera, France. 40.75 x 78 inches. Two panels, folded as issued. Very Good, with large closed tear to mid-right, splitting to some folds, several small closed tears at the extremities, and light soiling.
