Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. This book proposes an operational strategy for transforming existing urban fabrics into models of sustainability, using the UV06 neighborhood unit of the new Ali Mendjeli town as a case study. Through a rigorous diagnosis based on ISDIS and INDI assessment systems, the author identifies the major challenges facing a neighborhood marked by the predominance of fossil fuels, poor waste management and a deteriorating living environment. To meet these challenges, the book defines a concrete action plan based on the creation of a major green belt, the integration of photovoltaic panels and the absolute priority given to soft mobility through the insertion of tramways and cycle paths. By combining social diversity, accessibility for all and economic revitalization of the first floor, this book demonstrates that ecological modernization is not only viable, but essential to providing citizens with a healthy and attractive environment. A true methodological guide, it is aimed at all those involved in urban development who wish to make the eco-neighborhood spirit a reality in contemporary urban planning. Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. This item is printed on demand.
