But for a few in Vol II, each sermon has its own title page, dated 1707 or 1708. The first three sermons in Vol I have separate pagination. Contents in very good order, w…ith some tanning and soiling to the pages of Vol I, as well as some contemporary doodling and trying-out of pens to its pastedowns, and to the title page and its verso. There is a little face in the margin of p.[iv] in the same brown ink, and an 'N' inked to the closed fore-edge. Volume II appears less used. 8vo, in matching contemporary bindings of full panel calf with five raised bands, refurbished and with new labels, in very good firm condition. Very scarce.
