Occasional faint foxing to plate margins; small puncture at center of one tissue-guard, else a tight, Near Fine copy in an attractive Stikeman binding, slightly rubbed at joints and spine ends. Introduction signed by J. Taylor Ellyson; main text unattributed. This copy with the engraved bookplate of noted Virginia bibliophile John W. Hancock Sr.; laid in are (1) a 1925 note from Stikeman to Hancock, noting that the book is ready to be shipped; (2) the original mailing label from Goodspeed's, where the book was originally purchased; and (3) TNS from Hancock to Thomas F.
