Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book is a revealing historical account that looks back at the people of a quaint mountain town called Evanston and how they flourished despite hardships. The author, himself a man born and raised in Evanston, explores the highs and lows of the town's past, drawing on stories from… his own boyhood and conversations with locals. The narrative explores the unlikely truth that it was not soil or resources that determined the prosperity of its people, but an enduring legacy of strength and ingenuity that sowed the seeds for a generation of success. This book delivers a meditation on how surrounding circumstances and ancestry can cultivate greatness, even against the odds. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
