Gilsinn went on to teach at the Foreign Service School at Georgetown University in 1948. Followed by a variety of diplomatic postings in India, Pakistan, Brazil, Uruguay, and Nicaragua. Finally, Gilsinn became an instructor in business and economics at Marian College in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1960.
