Internally, prev owner's Christmas, 1887 sgn on t. P. , hinges cracked between several of the gatherings, o/w clean, unmarked, paper still crisp. Nice Victorian poems for children by numerous authors, about world of nature, domestic life (including one about rubber boots with accompanying illustration) , etc. Children's; fine binding.

Edgar Theodore Wherry (18851982) was an American mineralogist, soil scientist and botanist. In 1964, he was awarded the Mary Soper Pope Memorial Award in botany. The "Edgar T.
