In der Vergangenheit war es den Unternehmen nur sehr schwer mà glich, Informationen aus der Mundpropaganda zu erhalten oder diese sogar aktiv in ihre Marketingbemühungen zu integrieren. Mit zunehmender Verbreitung des Internets erà ffnen sich jedoch diesbezüglich neue und wichtige Potenziale. Erst durch das Internet hat sich eine Plattform etabliert, die nicht nur maÃgebliche Vorteile für die Kommunikation besitzt, sondern auch neue Dimensionen in der Analyse von Kommunikationsinhalten sowie deren Nutzung als Marketing-Instrument erà ffnet. Erstmals bietet sich Unternehmen auch eine Einflussmà glichkeit auf die Herausbildung von Nachfrager-Gemeinschaften.
