Internally near fine with no inscriptions. Pages clean. The two-page Indice [Index] at the back of the book is uncut at the top edge [could be carefully cut open if so wished]. ***In a rare example of the colour-illustrated thin paper dustwrapper, which has a fairly large chip to the top edge of the front panel and adjoining head of the spine. Small chips to the corners of the dustwrapper. Small loss to the tail of the spine of the dustwrapper. Small closed tears and creasing to the top edge of the back panel of the dustwrapper. With a small contemporaneous violet ink square bordered stamp on the back panel of the dustwrapper stating 'Aumento 5% 26 Fahr. 1940-XVIII' [import tax?].
