This facsimilie catalog includeds the Sears Motor Buggy Booklet from 1910 as well pages from related Sears General Catalogs of that era relating to their production and sale of Sears Motor Buggy automobiles. The covers are color illustrated and depict a 1910 Model H Motor Buggy. In 1909 Sears attempted to capitalize on the American automobile craze, and designed, built and sold (through their catalogs only) a light weight auto called the Sears Motor Buggy. They manufactured 5 mocels It was ultimately not successful, however, as people wanted more power, luxury and convenience that the Sears Motor Buggy provided. Sears got out of the auto business in 1912. This is a rectangular format booklet in stapled, printed wrappers,and is in nice conditon with a couple of faint cover creases near the spine, but no chips or tears, interior or exterior marking, or owner names.
