A post-civil rights movement take on the Defoe classic, wherein Crusoe finds himself stranded o…n an island with a black islander, whom he names Friday, and finds himself incapable of seeing the islander beyond his narrow and racist colonialist worldview. Nominated for the Palm d'Or. 23 x 32.5 inches. Very Good, with light dampstaining to the right side.
