Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm vinyl record album, Motown MT 604, near-mint vinyl in its original wax-paper inner sleeve, in a very-good jacket in its original shrink-wrap (Miss Wilson used a few pieces of Scotch tape to keep it in place), with a cut-out hole punched to lower left, with a small (2-inch) brown dampstain to bottom corner, said jacket also retaining its original $8.99 price tag. Before Eddie Holland became part of the legendary mid-'60s Motown songwriting / producing trilogy of Holland-Dozier-Holland, he debuted (albeit with a songwriting credit on seven cuts) as a singer on this, his first album. And this was the personal copy of Mary Wilson of the Supremes (we had it from her hand in September of 2012), though it bears no ownership markings. The hit, "Jamie," is credited to R. Strong and co-producer W. Stevenson. Catalogs $400; here reduced from $500.
