Laid in is a clipped-and-stapled feature (by Herbert Mitgang) on Mort Sahl from the Feb. 8, 1959 edition of the New York Times Magazine, AND a blue-and-white cocktail napkin from Gene Norman's Interlude and the Crescendo, jazz music venues upstairs and downstairs at 8572 Sunset Boulevard (Hollywood's Sunset Strip) which operated 1954-1964, being subsequently re-named The Trip. Verso of napkin inscribed in blue ink "For Paul Lawler -- Best Wishes to you & the Flamingo, located in that sandy Sodom & Gomorrah -- Las Vegas," (signed) "Mort Sahl."
