J. Donelson -- Andrew Jackson Donelson -- who was the President's nephew and personal secretary, counter signed by Elijah Haywood, Commissioner of the General Land Office.

Margins of sheet once folded for framing, now unfolded; some soil, mended tears and foxing to extremities, much fainter within plate marks; printed area remains clean and unfaded; Very Good. A finely engraved bust portrait of Jackson; a portion of the image was later re-used for the famous "Black Jack" 2-cent postage stamp of 1863.
