[Ashley Montagu] complementing the book, the author, and the contributor of the Foreword. Interior pages are otherwise clean. Provenance from the collection of University of Alabama Department of Anthropology Professor Emeritus Keith Jacobi. A British-American anthropologist who earned his Ph.D. at Columbia University, Montague Francis Ashley Montagu (1905-1999; born Israel Ehrenberg) studied race and gender and their relations to politics and development and was a prolific author who taught initially at Rutgers with later positions at Princeton, Harvard, University of California-Santa Barbara, and New York University.
