At regular intervals he had conversations with his colleague and friend Aniela Jaffe, and collaborated with her in the preparation of the text based on these talks. One occasion, he was moved to write entire chapters of the book in his own hand, and he continued to work on the final stagesof the manuscript until shortly before his death on June 6, 1961. The covers of this two-volume-set present with creasing to length of spine and corner bumping/wear DJ's are unclipped and present with corner/edge wear/chipping, rubbing, and are largely held together via transparent tape (centers of covers are untaped). Text is largely tight in binding, though both copies stand slightly askew; handle with care to maintain remaining binding integrity. Text is clean and free of blemishes throughout, save for insides of both front covers. No other markings or indications of note. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Originally published in German in 1977, this edition has been translated by Krishna Winston.
