Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. This is a real Gem! In 1901 James L. White discovered and explored Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. The caverns later became a National park and in 1932 Mr. White copy-righted and had printed this unpaginated, 31 page pamphlet style booklet with a color photograph on the front cover and many black and white photographs on the internal pages. It is very difficult to determine the status of this example as there is no edition information anywhere in the pamphlet. The copyright date is 1932 and the statistics for the park's visitors on the last page end in 1936. The pamphlet is signed by Mr. White on the title page with a bold, nibbed pen look. The cover is intact with one staple location showing some wear on the fold. There are no outside tears or stains. The internal pages are pristine with no damage, staining or wear showing. I think this very early edition is extremely rare (almost all others I have been able to find date after 1940 and are usually signed by Mr. White's wife.). Signed by Author(s).
