The only reason this book did not grade as VG or better because of the front hinge crack. Pages are toned due to age but are clean. There is no handwriting or bookplates, no library markings, no signatures, nothing torn or loose.

He cites Bulletin de la Librairie Morgand et Fatout (number 2772), where a set was listed at 225 Francs: 'This edition is remarkable for the suite of 24 engravings executed after drawings by Smirke'.
