Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. This 268 pp. indexed book is a very unique blend of genealogy & history, detailing the Franciscus family in Europe going back to Roman times, and then how they emigrated to America, having direct lineage from George Washington's Father. The book is printed nicely on slick paper, with photos interspersed. It is SIGNED by the author, John Allen Franciscus, on the Title page. This is a Presentation Copy, hand lettered to the Louisville Public Library, on the first blank flyleaf. There is a page on other Franciscus members that was "tipped-in" the rear, with another "penned-in" (by author) note just inside the rear board. Light corner bumping, else NEAR FINE. -- THE PHOTO IS A STOCK IMAGE -- NOT A PHOTO OF THIS COPY !! Inscribed by Author(s).
