Flutter, who wrote the foreword, is Godden's daughter; Asher, who wrote the introduction, played the middle sister (analogous to Godden)… in the 1961 movie version ofthe book; a greengage is a sort of plum. Attractively bound with ink sketches by Brouwer; the first Folio printing, as pictured. Light wear to book, hint of rubbing to spine; clean & unmarked, light rubbing to slipcase. Size: Octavo.
