Softcover. Condizione: g. First edition. Folio Oblong. 12 leaves. Original light green wraps with blue lettering on cover. 12 full page color reproductions of Janesch war paintings. Titles of paintings printed on inside cover. Albert Janesch was educated at the Vienna Academy of Art and active as war painter at various theaters of war in Yogoslavia and Turkey during WWI, and in France, Russia, and Greece during WWII. after WWII he was commissioned for a fresco painting in the "Eisensaal" (Iron Hall) of the Museum for Military History in Vienna. Text in German. Front cover moderately, back cover lightly soiled. 1" tear at bottom center of cover. Single pages have light end-to-end crease in the center due to folding of publication. First page discolored at right edge not affecting the image. Binding in overall fair, interior in good+ condition.
