Lone E Janson who was for many years the waterfront reporter for The Cordova Times, combined extensive library research with dozens of ''I was there'' interviews to put together this story. The first five printings of this book were published by Alaska Northwest Publishing Company; this later printing published by HaHa, Inc; History and Humor of Alaska.
