Color from spine titling faded, chips to head and foot. Two short tears to head of rear jacket panel. Boards heavily faded along head and less so along foot, all corners bumped. End-papers irregularly faded, head of text block heavily soiled with bits of soil to fore-edge and foot. Binding firm. Inscribed and signed by Javits on half-title and otherwise unmarked.
