Laid in is a 1950 typed letter to the aforementioned psychologist, from Newark, New Jersey rare book dealer G. Nisivoccia, listing four books on "strength" for sale, of which this is one. Nisivoccia calls this an enlarged second editionalthough we do not see that stated in the bookafter a first edition of 1896; *OCLC* seems to note another edition of 1890.
