Vintage borderless black and white photograph of director Jean Becker behind the camera on the set of the 1971 short film. With a printed mimeo snipe affixed to the verso, along with the stamps of Interfoto MTI and PIX agency. From the archive of the PIX Agency, a photo house that acted as an intermediary between emigre photographers (as well as those still living in Europe) and the American magazine and newspaper market between 1935-1969. A short educational television film for the "Shaping of the Western World" series, reenacting the events of July 14, 1789, the day a group of French revolutionaries stormed the Bastille in response to decades of political abuse and the monarchy's neglect. Set in France. 7 x 9 inches. Very Good plus, with light creasing to the bottom left corner.

True story of the 1947 Le Sante Prison break, with one of the real escapees, Keraudy, playing his own character in the film. Vintage film negative from the 1983 French neo-noir film, showing actress Isabelle Adjani squatting, nude, on the set. Accompanied by a blue-toned test photograph struck from the negative, presumably in 1983. Based on the 1977 novel by Sébastien Japrisot, about a woman's desire to avenge the gang rape of her mother. Isabelle Adjani won a César Award for Best Actress for her performance. Shot in and around Gordes. Negative 5 x 4 inches, blue-tone test photo very slightly larger. Near Fine. Grant France.
