Condizione: Good. 1 p. 32 x 21cm. Death certificate for Philomène Boudin. Philomène Boudin, known as Esther, was, like Eugénie Krantz, Verlaine's companion in his last years. She inspired the poet to write several collections, including "Odes en son honneur" and "Chansons pour Elle,". Provenance: Archives of Jean Bourguignon, a student of Verlaine's at Collège Notre-Dame de Rethel , who became a prominent French curator and writer, particularly known for his expertise and publications on the Napoleonic era.
