Condizione: Very good. - An 8-1/8 inch high by 10 inch wide glossy black & white vintage photograph depicting Myrna Dell holding a gun on Anne Jeffreys in a scene from RKO's "Step by Step". The number "SBS-17" is printed in white along the bottom right of the image. There is minor creasing to the edges. Three holes are punched along the top edge of the photo. Very good. This a vintage publicity photo, not a reproduction, sent out to newspapers and periodicals of the period. Text from a printed press release tipped onto the verso reads: "Hard as nails, with plenty of tough acting and tougher conversation for her role in 'Step by Step,' Myrna Dell is pictured here with Anne Jeffreys who, with Lawrence Tierney, has the stellar role in this RKO Radio production.".

No Binding. Condizione: Collectible-Fine. Publicity photograph (8 x 10 inch) for the movie "Dillinger" with Ms Jeffreys in costume, full figure, holding a cigarette. Anne Jeffreys (1923- ) was an accomplished soprano until going onto the stage and discovered for her first film "I Married an Angel" in 1942. She played Tess in the Dick Tracy series during the 1940s. Her film career faltered after the 1940s and she went onto the stage and later TV in the CBS series 'Topper' with her husband, Robert Sterling. During the 60s and 70s she played bit parts on 'LA Law' & 'Murder She Wrote'. Of note she was the last dancing partner with Fred Astaire on screen in an episode of 'Battlestar Galactica'. Since 1984 she has played a role in 'General Hospital" and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This accomplished singer and actress of the stage, film and television is often remembered for the early t.v. sitcom "Topped" (1953-55); she appeared in many films of the 1940s and after. IPS, 8" X 10," n.p., n.y. Fine. Glossy black-and-white closeup portrait of a glamorous smiling young Jeffreys, inscribed and signed large and bold in black fineline at lower right: "All the best -- / Anny Jeffreys." Undated, but an appealing later life example.

Original program for the 1945 film. Features ad layouts, side-by-side comparison of Lawrence Tierney and the real John Dillinger, and various headline suggestions. Dillinger (Tierney) robs a store, meets fellow gangster Specs (Lowe) in jail, and continues his heists once freed from prison, this time with a moll named Helen (Jeffreys), who eventually rats him out to the Fuzz. Nominated for an Academy Award. Director Nosseck made good use of stock footage from previous gangster films. Illustrated wrappers, saddle-stapled. 16 leaves.
