From an edition limited to twenty-seven copies, printed on Japan vellum. Written in the first person, but most likely penned by Leeth's interviewer, Ewel Jeffries. A reprint of the very rare 1831 Lancaster, Ohio edition. John Leeth (whose name is sometimes spelled "Leith") was a fur trader in Ohio when he was captured by Delawar…e Indians, escaped, and was captured again by Shawnees.
