Im Kontext seiner Zeit besteht in der Behauptung des Genres Landschaftsmalerei und in dessen malerischer Formulierung die Bedeutung dieses englischen Malers.ANTHONY AMIES (1945, Norwich-2000, London) studierte von 1964-1970 an der Slade School of Fine Art in London Malerei und Grafik.
