Condizione: VG. 10pp extract, printed in double columns, illustrated with 14 drawings and photographs, including several portraits, and a cameo portrait of the author, final page-only in photocopy, salvaged from a damaged issue of The Cosmopolitan, Volume XII, No. 3, January, 1891. The author, a relative of General G…ordon, was a volunteer on the Stanley expedition sent out for the relief of Emin Pasha. Illustrations include a small map of Fort Bodo made on the spot. Housed in protective mylar report cover.
