Released in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Warsaw, this set features reproductions of two beautiful, large-scale maps of Warsaw in 1935 and in 1945 that show the extent of the destruction of the city caused by World War II. Features 18 pages of English text describing the rebuilding efforts undertaken by the Soviets as well as a 24 page booklet listing the street names for the 1935 map. Copy is in very good condition with some minor wear to the hardcover. The two maps are in excellent, fine condition.
