Billmeyer, Philadelphia printers. The 40 page almanac has heavy edge and corner wear with bends and tears, spine is mostly torn but book remains intact. The 1878 almanac was prin…ted by A. Vogeler and Co of Baltimore. The cover has chip and soiling, corners are worn throughout, there are curious woodcuts throughout of elephants. The 1884 almanac was printed by Jesse D. Hawley of Reading PA, founder of the Reading Eagle. The edges and corners are chipped, paper is toned, spine has chips, wonderful cover illustration. All orders packed with care, most dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011.
